My bike came with a D&D carbon fiber slip on and it was way to loud for me too. Horrible droning at highway speed and any acceleration was worse.

I went with a Micron high mount and couldn't be happier. It has a bassier note to it rather than the raspberries the D&D blew before.

 

I wonder if by changing the baffle or repacking the D&D would make it any quieter.Any body ever try it?
