Default cracked coil stick

Hi all

Was riding my bike (cbr 600f6 ) last night when it started acting strange it was cutting in and out very rapidly allier like the kill switch was coming off and on ... A friend checked my BAS kill switch and kickstand which Where fine and also checked for and error codes there Where none.. on further inspection i noticed one of the coil sticks has quite a large crack in it almost like the outside is split exposing some metal is this a major problem and should I replace ??

Also would this cause the problem above
Any help apreciated

Thanks

Yes thats a major problem as you've already experienced. The real question is when you find something broken like this why WOULDN'T you replace it?

Oh I get it. Your coil sounds too far gone to do anything about. I'd check the other coils for cracking, then you can catch it before it strands you somewhere.
