Default coolant leak with pictures

Just thought id get some ideas on the problem while my bike cools. I am thinking its the radiator cap. if the cap ends up being the leak is it an oring on the cap that i end up needing to replace?

the leak basically ran down the hose leading to the radiator and sprayed the crankcase and exhaust pipe.

Maybe you could have it pressure tested to determine the source of the leak.

From the pictures I'd guess the rad cap or that there upper hose. Maybe start by checking to see if the clamp is at the correct tension.

It could possibly be coming from the Clamp!!
To make 100% sure Clean everything completely clean. Turn the motorcycle on and wait for it to leak out then you will know for sure where the leak is coming from.

As stated above check the clamp, hose, and cap. Pull the cap off (after it's cool) and inspect the seal for damage. You radiator itself is looking awfully corroded near the bottom of the tank as well (not likely your leak but something to look at while you're working on the system. If you can afford to do the work at the same time poke your finger around the corrosion and see what happens.

lol thanks nate. the area that looks corroded was actually dirt, everything was cleaned up and the leak was coming from the clamp. ill tighten it down when the bike cools. my reserve coolant tank is empty. am i able to just fill it up or do i need to purge air in the line to the radiator? also can i just fill up the radiator since im guessing it could use a little. any little things i need to worry about other than 50/50 ratio?
