any pointers ive spent a few hours now trying to find a way to understand what code my bike is throwing. its the fi light and i turn the key it primes the hole speedo check yadda yadda but when i hit the starter it turns over and the starter just runs. the fi light is one long blink then 4 short. anyone had this or know what i should do.

its been a cold winter in new Hampshire, i pulled the battery have it one a trickle while im going to work. gonna come home and try it again but i doubt thats my bigg issue.

any help is more then i had!!

Fault Code 14:

Loose or poor contact on No. 3 Injector Connector

Open or short circuit in No. 3 Injector Wire

Faulty No. 3 Injector

If you have done work to the battery or anywhere in that area check the ECM harness for any broken wires. I had the same fault on my bike but it would not prime. If all the connections are good at the ECM then check out the injector and injector connector. If that checks out, you have a break in the wire somewhere else in between.

 

thanks you for the reply just got home from work about to go out and see if maybe my battery was just not fully charged if not i will take what you said and start looking!
