Default Not starting up

Alright this is the deal, I ride a 98 F3. I've been having loads of issues with it lately as far as the electrical system goes. At first it started with a ride to work and everything was fine, however when I went to start the bike the lights would dim and it would crank, but never turn over and after about four times doing that it wouldn't even crank, just tick. I got jumped and rode home, after getting home I turned the bike off and then immediately tried to start the bike back up and same results before.. I took the seat off and felt of the rectifier/regulator and it was hot as hell so I bought a new non OEM one and changed that out. About 3 days later the battery started to fail and I actually had to run about 6k rpms to get the bike home without it dying. The battery was under warranty so I got a new one (AGM) and charged it for 12 hours before putting it on the bike. This was about a week ago. About four days ago I noticed that when I would crank the bike it would be weak and it just seemed to be getting weaker and weaker. I was neglecting it and hoping it was due to the recent cold weather as my bike is carbureted... Again though after a ride I shut the bike off and it didn't want to turn over and I had to get a jump.. I rode home and here I am explaining the last two weeks of my life and my misfortunes. IDEAS???? Thanks.

how is your regulator rectifier doing now? still hot as ****? is there any brown discoloring? if not, it might be your stator.

Nah, it's not heating up... As far as the discoloring, I don't know what you're referring to.

is the plug burnt? sounds to me like your frying batteries, the r/r should be getting hot reguardless as thats its function to burn off excess voltage as heat.... I would bet you still have a r/r issue. Id consider getting rid of the honda one and go with a gsxr one and solder the connection to do away with that crappy connector.

The plug as in the harness going to the r/r? If so it was hardly burnt.. I had to work with it to get the old r/r off because it was sorta melted, but everything was completely salvageable.
