Default Coolant Issue

So here's a curious one. My bike is running normal temps, no problems and such, and then bam twice when I turn it off, some coolant spills onto hot parts then smoke. Not losing any when she sits there though, just right when I turn it off.

I was low and changed it, and now we have this problem.

I think it may need a good strong flush, more thorough than what I had done initially. Is the coolant coming from the spill bolt?

I'm hoping it's nothing serious, she is running cooler than normal and stuck in traffic, normal. I'm concerned but super confused, and didn't find something quite like it in my searches. Also, on my way to class (where I am now), it didn't happen this last time but did this morning. Any help folks?

Thanks!

If the temps are fine....then you simply overfilled the system it sounds like...wheres the leak coming from? Check that you bleed/burped the system and that the cap is correctly secured down

Low on the motorcycle, but not quite as far back as the drainage hose.
