I filled my coolant up to go riding today...when i stopped at a light i noticed it was gushing out of my bikes overflow hose...and now it is completely gone...has this happened to anyone else? or could i possibly have a leak or crack in the coolant can?

which hose? bottom or top? if it is flowing out of the overflow hose then you answered your own question. if it is coming out at the bottom hose which is attached to the radiator then you have a bad hose or cracked coolant reservoir.

nope van its not just an overflow. That's its main job, however when the system cools it creates vacuum and pulls the coolant back into the rad just like a car. If its not working correctly when the system gets to warm and spews the coolant out then it has no where to draw it back from. Sooner or later your running with little to no coolant and you destroy your engine. It it is indeed the coolant reservoir you can easily make something that will suffice. I just built one for my dirtbike(as they dont come with them factory) out of 2" CPVC and End caps, with ****** 3/8x1/4NPT nipple fittings.
