Default dropped bolt

...so0o0o0o....I was attempting to change out my stock air filter with an aftermarket K&N filter (which btw doesn't fit, tried to cut some rubber to make it fit but wouldn't so I got pissed and through it away). As I was carefully trying to put the screws back on the housing cover, one of the screws that goes into the middle fell off somewhere...I don't think it fell into one of the 4 cylinder holes (hope not)

I was reluctant to start it up but I did and I rode around briefly to see if the screw would fall out, but IDK if it did or not. There didn't feel like there was any problems.

Should I be worried about it?

Not trying to say your dumb or anything but when I installed my K&N Filter I noticed it only sits in one way which, to me, looked upside down but actually was the correct way. Mine sticks up rather than flush like the stock filter...

Well, it clearly isn't in the engine if you could ride it around. Also, you just put the filter in wrong. Best pull it out and try and return it.

It's probably stuck on a plastic piece, and just can't fall down through.

I guess it's not a problem (yet) because if I started it up, I would've heard clanking and putting and **** would've gotten messed up, but I didn't so I think it's fine.

Maybe I'll cover it with saran wrap next time....
