hi everbody, i have a question. i need a new ecu,brain, computer...etc. are all the years of the f4i the same? Does the computer have to mach the harness?? thanks in advance

i'm interested too, i was offered a 01 ecu with lock and a key from 01 which has hiss and i would really like to have such equipped. now i'm wondering if 06 american ecu would not be better to keep with , if it has better fuel maps, ignition timing and such..
