Default clutch switch wires

well my clutch switch is bad so i was going to try and clean off the wires real quick and see if that fixes it...

question though... do the wires just pull straight out? or do i need to loosen the bolts that hold the clutch on and adjust it that way? i'm going out on a ride tonight so i don't want to just rip the wires out and screw it up...

thanks

The two wires should just "pop" off the 2 terminals. They are just strait and flat "tab" style connectors.

Sometimes from being weathered the switch will stick. To take it out you DO have to remove the bolt and take off the clutch lever. no biggie though. then use a screw driver and push inward between the two prongs or tabs and the switch will fall out. take it apart and make sure it function properly.
