Steering head is loose. remove the top triple clamp, you then see two silver metal disk with knoches in them remove the top one, use a hammer and screw drive to tighten the bottem one and reinstall everyhting and you'lll be good to go.

f4i's dont have ABS or a slipper clutch (unless you put on a aftermarket one) it's the sterring head stem is lose where the tripe meets the frame, just tighten it up and you'll be fine. FYI you should be doing this or checking it about every 7-9,000 miles.

Interesting; I didn't know that. So I guess that narrows it down to wheel hop since my steering is OK. Thanks
