Default Chain & Sprocket setup for acceleration?

I am looking to get a little more acceleration out of my 600. The guys that I ride with have 750s and 1000s and have more power and acceleration than me. We ride mostly in town so we never hit anything over 60 mph. I still want to be able to get on the highway and cruise at 70 tho. So my question is: what sprocket and chain setup should I use to get that insane acceleration but enough to cruise on highway at 70 without running at 14k rpms?

I'd say 15/52 would be optimal for your situation.

There are literally 3 sprocket threads going on at the same time about the same topic.
