15/48 = -1/+2 which is a common upgrade from stock. Many members around here have that set-up. What would you like to know?

With the sprocket change you will get more torque but you will losw Top end. And you will need to get a speedohealer ubless you want roughly 20% more mileage added to your bike due to the speedometer being off.

If you want a bit more torque without much loss in top end maybe you should consider -1 (15/46) or just +2 rear (16/48)

Compromise is the name of the game, no such thing as more accelleration without top end loss with sprockets.

The -1/+2 lowers your max speed to approx 135 MPH. Do you ever plan on going that fast? Are you worried that you won't be able to do 157 MPH or whatever you are capable of with stock sprockets? I'd say if you aren't going to be doing track days you most likely will never notice the top end loss, and even if you do the loss is negligible in comparison to the added ease of lightening the front end!

EDIT: Someone recently posted a link to a speddhealer type of device that was selling for $70! Not sure on the quality, I didn't investigate it much because I already have a speedohealer.
