You said you disagree with me, but then continued on about how the first number indicates pitch, and since all three sizes begin with the same number (5), then they have the same pitch (5/8). But thanks for explaining that. I've just been edumacated.

Sorry, guess I wasn't very clear ... this is the only part I disagreed with
The 520/525/530, is the width of the chain,
. And you were mostly right about that also

i would stick with the 525 and not the 520 conversion..I have friends that did and the chain stretches...I bought the EK gold x ring chain and love it. It is a 525 and has not stretched one bit over 5000kms...Like the others said..make sure you get 2 new sprockets at the same time. Good luck
