Default CCT question

Hi Guys

I plan to adjust valve clearance soon, but before that I need to gather information as much as possible.

I have a quick question regarding CCT. After finish with everything and reinstalling head cover etc, I need to remove the CCT holder tool.

Question: Do I just pull this out, or should I turn it slowly counterclockwise? Will it spring back and slap my cam chain?

Sorry for noob question.

Any help most appreciated. Thanks

I think he's talking about the tool that holds the spring from turning, yes you can
pull it out when your ready and it adjust automaticlly.

Another question please.

I found this in work manual in relation to camshaft removal:
CAMSHAFT REMOVAL
Remove the cylinder head cover (page 8-4).
Avoid damaging the cam pulse generator while
removing the camshafts, remove the balt and cam
pulse generator from the cylinder head.
While searching other threads about valve clearance/adjustment, I never found this cam pulse generator being mentioned.

Do I really need to remove this part before I remove camshaft?

I don't want to do it if this step can be skipped.

Thanks for your advices
