Hey guys! Not sure how to fix this issue I've had, but the gas cap won't go all the way down. It will lock in place and not move, but it just won't go all the way down. I looked at the cap and it appears to have basically no movement when I move the key.

Should I buy a new cap or is there a fix to this??

 

Try spraying some wax chain-lube into mechanism of cap. Look underneath and you'll see beveled finger that moves in & out. Spray that area with lube and manually push it in & out until full motion is smooth.
