Cbr 2001 f4i grinding/not shifting into 2nd

My cbr isn’t shifting into second I’m pretty sure the clutch cable is stretched and it makes a grinding when I try to shift into 2nd with the clutch all the way,and if I shift into it while it’s off the turn it off it slips out of gear.my oil is clean and doesn’t have shiny in it is it just my clutch or is 2nd gear f***ked

Hi and welcome to the forum. How much clutch lever free play do you have? The end of the clutch lever should have about 10mm of free play before it starts to engage the clutch.
