Ok, so I know this is a very old thread, but I just sold my F4i. I still have this headlight "replacement" for the track. Is anyone interested in it? I am gonna post it in the classifieds for $100.

Sweheheeeett!!! Glad this popped up now cause I`m in the planning stage of doing the same thing with the slight exeption that on mine there will be three holes for little porjector lights. This gave me a few answers to some things I was wondering about as well as the idea for a CF surface. Gonna try to get me a sheet, if I can`t find it probably gonna go with a sticker.

 

And how to go without light?
