Default Cant start my CBR

Hey Guys andGals, Im new to the forum and my 2000 CBR F4 is my first bike. Please bare with me i have i few problems with this bike. When i got the bike it had been sitting for about 2 years, and it wouldnt start. The gas was nasty so i changed the fuel filter, cleaned the jets, Replaced the spark plugs and recharged the k&n. still wouldnt start,i noticed the fuel pump wasnt priming so i ran it directly to the battery, with a cut off . Finally I got the bike to start.I rode it for two weeks and parked it for about a month because it was stalling at the lights and idling rough. I was told it might be running rich, and i couldnt figure out how to adjust the fuel so i turned the screw on the float bowls ,one of them and bingo it ran alot better. then when i tried to adjust the rest I wouldnt start again. My guess is too much gas. I began to back fire and when i tried to give it gas it shut off. I just took the new plugs back out and they were black! cleaned them and put them back in. Im getting ready to start it as i type, can some one tell me how to adjust the fuel or give me some ideas ? any help would be appreciated im desperate to ride!!! Oh one more thing i try to upload a pic and it keeps telling me pic is too large. any one?
