Default Butt Comfort

Went for a couple hour ride the other day and knew my **** would get sore.

I used to commute to work on my pedal bike and found bike shorts (with padding in the butt) to make a huge difference in comfort, so I through them on under my jeans for the ride.

Pretty good! For you out there that get sore and want an easy way to increase your comfort level, there's an option for you

I was totally comfortable. Not quite as 'free' as with loose boxers but I didn't have any problems
It's just like wearing tight boxers or something like that. Snug, but fine.

Yeah, I wear those too. I only wear them on a long ride though under my textile pants, don't bother with jeans. I have the pearl izumi brand, and I'd like to get another pair but they're so expensive ~$50

Yeah I'd only throw them on for longer rides 1+ hours.

the drawback is that if you are going somewhere, you don't want really hang out in them for the rest of the night, kinda thing..

actually, that's not a bad idea at all... My little fellas tend to get hammered pretty bad with jeans, these might keep them up and out of the way, I have a pair, and they're not uncomfortable at all... not something I'd wear for fun, but definetly on a pedal road bike (i.e. not mountain) it's imperative that if you nave those pants. Without those pants, I would never get on a pedal bike, the seat is just waaaaaaayyyyy too small.
