Hey guys, when im going at high speeds, around 100 KPH and more, when i press my front brake pretty hard, it feels like my brake is a bit jumping ?? do you have any ideas what could it be ? when im at lower speeds, I don't feel it. thanks alot

Warped rotor, old pads. Lift the front and spin the wheel while lightly holding the brake to see if you can hear the uneven wear.

It will be the rotor not the pad. Pad wear is dictated by the rotor.

Usually around $200 a side. You can get used ones for cheaper - but watch out for the really cheapo chinese ones on ebay, they often don't fit or aren't high quality.

Honestly, spend the money on good brakes, they might save your life.

You should upgrade the stuff that stops you before you upgrade the stuff that speeds you up.

 

Arashi rotors are fine, they use the same 420 stainless steel as high end rotors and the fit is perfect. Lots of poeple have had success with them if you google it.

 

Damn so that would be ~ 400 if the 2 disc did get a bit wavy ? Thats pretty expensive ! And thanks for all of your answers guys ! Really appreciated

 

i've been trying to find out if tightening the pincher bolts at the wrong time when mounting the front wheel, causeing the disc to be crooked, could cause this problem.
i assume the front wheel would vibrate like all hell at those high speeds too, but you did say 100kph for high speed, instead of say 130mph.
but i would focus at the problem at hand first and verify what is wrong
