i changed my front master back to a stock one after i wrecked and broke the zx6r one. bled it and everything and it seamed like it worked good. took it for a test ride and it worked fine. next thing the front brakes slowly started engaging (by itself) and it locked up all the way. it was stuck. the only way for me to release it was to open up the bleeder valve to let the fluid out. and its free again. if i use the front brakes again itll slowly lock up again. whats the problem? i need help! thanks

is there any signs of dot4 fluid leaking? maybe the square cut seal in the caliper is not retracting back.

 

I have had several things cause this on a rear brake. calipers sticking will cause it, bad MC seals will cause it, leaks in the line can cause it.

when you wrecked, did you do damage to the lines? did you replace them, did you replace the crush washers with new

you changed to "a" stock MC, do you know the history of the stock one?

 

you probably need to rebuild your calipers or mc..either that or kink i nthe lines

 

the lines look fine. i dont know the history of the stock master. just bought it from a guy online. theres no leak anywhere or anything. im gonna swap out the master this weekend and see where i get with that

 

pretty good chance that MC is no good.

 

finally go my hands on a master. same one i had when i wrecked. 08 zx6r. and it works fine now. i only rode it around the block so far and its just fine. ill ride tomorrow for a bit to be sure its all good. thanks guys!
