Both Headlights on at the same time?

It is for me 05, I find the light design somewhat weak if you ask me, but what do I know. Having two lights working separately is somewhat odd.
I ride with them both on during the day, since its not illegal for motorcycles to have their brights on during the day.

is it really not illegal in cali? is it only during the day? i was riding at night one time with my high beams on and a cop told me to turn them off...i just want to make sure its legal so if i ever get a ticket i can fight it

Well that just sucks........
I would feel safer at night with two headlights on...... instead of one.....
I guess HID upgrades will be my first purchase for the bike????
So nobody has tried to get both lights working???? It probably screws with the high beams or something.......

I think you don't understand. On these bikes, the low beam is on one side, and the high beam is on the other. If you want to have both lights on, by nature it will be the low and high beams, regardless of if you are turning the "second" light on by the OEM switch, of any other "hack" way.
Yes, HIDs are a GREAT "upgrade" to the stock lights. Check them out at:

He was also kinda a joke-ster, so maybe he was just saying that because he almost gets hit all the time. Ive never had a problem with them on yet.
