+1. It's not the kill switch. If the FI primes, then the kill switch is fine. If you cycle the kill switch, that'll reset the bank angle sensor. If a bike sits for too long, the plugs can get fouled.
make sure you do the routine stuff too. Check the fuses. i don't think the bike will start if the fuse to the radiator fan is blown. I know it will with the headlight fuse and some others. Are both your turn signals activated when you turn the key? If so that's another reason why the bike won't start andthat's an easy fix i can talk you thru.

you should have the spark plug head. it's longer and it does lift the sparkplug when you turn the wrench...
if the starter is not cranking , you have a problem with the battery , the starter or the engine internals.
if it cranks and tries to, but not fires up, it's your spark plugs or fuel injectors.. the fuel deteriorates during long cold stays so it can clog the injectors afterwards. try to start with throttle fully open.
that's what i think.

RE: bike won't start
wanted to thank everyone for thier help. got the bike started today. ended up being the spark plugs were fouled up and needed to be replaced. pain in the *** to get to all the plugs. ended up having to take off the fairings, gas tank, and air box to be able to get to all of the ignition coils and plugs. 1 and 4 came off without much problems, but 2 and 3 would not come off, the ignition coils kept hitting the air box and wouldnt come off. good tho, learned alot about how the bike is put together.
