After being pulled over they impounded the bike because the vin looked like it was tampered with. I am waiting for the title and Honda said that the vin does indeed match the bike. Why are they holding it? And what can I do to get the bike out asap and not pay out the A$$ for storage fees?

im curious why did they pull you over in the 1st place ? they really shouldnt be able to hold it for just that reason but then again i dont know anythign about TX state laws. btw are they holding it on a 30 day ?

 

bitch asses better not be riding it. I got the key. pulled me over for speeding. got at WARNING for speeding, guess they couldn't prove it. Next time i might have to just not stop.

 

No...next time you should still stop. Running gets u no where fast except to maybe the morgue. As far as what you can do. Just wait. Maybe run it by a lawyer. Or if u r innocent...then just keep waiting. I wouldn't pay the storage fees though if the vin checks ok. If they try to stick yopu with that affter saying there is no prob, I would get a lawyer

 

I would go to Honda and either get proof in writing that the VIN is ok...and hire a lawyer...

hate to say but the cop prob inpounded because of something u did. Were you being an azz to the cop. Not trying to take their sides but once pulled over just do the YES SIR, YES MA'AM thing so you can get out of there as quickly and as cheaply as possible.
