bikes impounded

ok well lisc was suspended 3 months ago and i have moved 2 times since then. i never did get a notice in the mail. anyway i didnt see the cop until i passed him. i took my hands off the bars for a few seconds to zip up my jacket and he pulled me over. me being the nice guy i am he didnt arrest me but took my bike. i stayed to watch them hook it up. it was secure. now i just hope they take care of it! anyone have any impound horror stories?

cant till tuesday the judge has to release it... sucks i should have just ran....

no way should you have ran. Id fear they would ride it tho. can you at least go see it.

yeah i am going to check on it today. he told me he needed the key i told him i will just take off the steering lock. he insisted on the key makes me kind of nervous.

Was the reason he pulled you over was the fact you took your hands off the bars? Is that illegal to do that..? I do it all the time...

He pulled you over and impounded your bike and suspended your license because you took your hands off the bars? Were you speeding or anything else?
