my idle adjuster was messed around with and now the bike wont start, is there a way to get it was to where it should be so the bike will start again?

 

what do you mean by messed around with?? Are you talking about the **** on the left side by your thigh, or the choke? cuz the **** will keep it from idling if you turned it too far out, it might have come unscrewed at the carb.. you'll have to pull the tank and look...... but.. if you hold the throttle open a bit, it should start and run.. just wont idle if you let go....

i did what you said but before i try to start it again where is the idle adjuster **** set at from the factory. basically, how man turns from fully screwed in? anyone know? thanks

 

its on the left side of the bike. right inside of the side fairing. It looks like a little **** with a screw in the very center of it. Just turn it in until the bike idles correctly. I normally ran mine around 1300RPM

I have mine set to idle at 1100 rpm after the bike is warm. When i first start it it will go to about 2000 then will come down as it warms up.
