Hey all me again. I think I have decided to go with the ball mount set up. I had a question however. I don't happen to have a tape measure in inches and or millimeters available at the moment. Do you guys happen to know the diameter of the steering head tube? If so would it fall under 13.3mm - 14.7mm or 0.52" - 0.58", 15.0mm - 17.2mm (0.59" - 0.68") or 17.5mm - 20.5mm (0.68" - 0.81")? I am guessing that it wouldn't be the last set of measurements because that certainly seems very large. Thank you very much. This would be a big help!

Ahh and as for the x type mount that was mentioned, looking around online I also found something called the Riders Claw. Could be that as well but seems a bit pricey. =)

I met a guy today who attached a cheap mount to the stem cap with super glue. This is a pretty economical option. Also, there is a thread on here depicting a home made stem mount more similar to the RAM mounts. I personally have a RAM mount and it wound up costing me around $40 for all three pieces (Amazon).

DIY: How To : Steering Stem Droid Mount/ Ball Mount for GPS

RAM Part numbers: RAM-HOL-UN7BU, RAM-B-201U-A, RAM-B-342U

Oh I just had to do this. The tube/rubber plug they give you is too small for an F4i. I took in the stem cap to the hardware and found a rubber plug (I think it's a little over 1" in diameter) that has about the same diameter. I then drilled a hole through the center so the bolt can go through it.

Get the SMH 10 Blue tooth. That what I have and works awesome. You can listen to music, chat from bike to bike if the other has one and take calls if you want. You can even connect it for gps as well.

See photo gallery for the power source I added.
