So today i noticed i lost my bar end and who knows there the bi%ch is at. Will that mess with my steering or such? Or are they just there to keep the bars from shaking at high ends... I just took the other one off til i find/buy new ones

 

lol mine came off too, and my right hand goes nuts after a while of hard riding. i think it's to minimize the vibration.

 

its mainly for vibration but also to keep the bar from stabbing you in the arm in the event of a crash (it would still hurt like hell if your arm did wind up between the bar and the pavement but probably wouldn't actually stick through)
replacements are cheap (aftermarket at least), soI suggest you do replace it

 

I wish my right side bar end would fall off, I think the guy I bought the bike from stripped the screw out, now Icant get it off to change it to match the one on the other side.Search on e-bay under F4i, they have some pretty killer looking bar ends for sale
