Average life?
Hey all i recently purchased my first bike an 03 f4i and was just wondering with proper maintanence not abusing it and basic regular eveyday use what kind of life is this bike gonna have? Are we talking 20,000 mi or closer to 50,000 my friend has an 89 accord with over 200,000 mi so i know hondas are up there but how about bike motors thanks!
My '04 F4i just turned 46,000 miles this morning on our sunday group ride to LaBelle!
Still runs and rides like the day I bought it brand new, still smooth as glass, and she'll still get right up to 160 mph no problem. Never had a single problem with mine, she's been an absolute dream! Just do the normal maintence as recommended in the service manual, use quality oil and filters, and it'll last a good long while. It's a Honda, no worries!!
I made a video on our ride this morning if I can get it to work I may post it so you can see
BTW, I too have an '89 Accord, and it just turned 369,000 miles last weekend on my way up to Orlando, and it too still runs and drives like brand new.... al original motor, tranny, everything. Everything still works, including the power antenna and a/c blows nice and cold! Still a nice smooth ride. On top of that, my roomates '87 Accord has 326k original miles, my dads '89 Accord at 169k, and my moms '94 Accord at 205k... all still kickin' strong as ever, so if that gives you any idea about Hondas, hahah

my accord has 98k miles , its an 88 LX-i and i hate the thing. its so clunky and it always drains my battery over the course of 3 days and what sucks is i tested the alternator and its still good. on the brightside i <3 my F4i .
