Default ANyone been pulled over for changing their lights?

I thinking about getting a fender illiminator and flush mounts. I want to get an illiminator that replaces the turn signals with the brake light/signal combo. Has anyone been pulled over or fined for changing the lights on there bikes? I know around here if you start messin with the lights on your car then the cops start wanting to let you know you cant do that.

the local school cop has looked at my bike a million times. hes thinking of buying one and said not one thing about the turnsignals other than those look alot better than the huge stock ones. ive never been pulled over for my lights even thought a yellow bike ran from them so the pulled me over and asked where ive been assuming i was the "yellow" bike.
hope that helps

This is all depending on the certain police officer you get..technically there is nothing legal except what came on your bike originally, this is true of windshield, exhaust, turn signals, ect....

as long as you stick to the DOT color's you'll be fine. the only rules in most states is red for brakes, yellow for turn, and they need to be visible from 500 feet back at night.

at least in az thats what i was told.

I looked up the TX penal code and all it states is that if your in front of the bike your not suppost to be able to see any red or blue lights.
