Default Idle Tones Changing and Diming lights...?

I have searched countless threads that vaguely address my concern.. I have had my F4i for three days now. It's not tagged or insured yet but I have ridden it for a few miles.. I noticed that I need to adjust my clutch cable big time or replace the whole thing.. but when stopped and in neutral, if I pull in the clutch the tone of the engine changes? I can’t remember if there was an rmp change (I guess means if there is one it was subtle I guess) but the tone changes..

Also..

When stopped, the lights slightly dim. As soon as I touch the throttle the brighten up.

Input?

Thanks guys!

You have absolutely nothing to worry about here. Unless your RPM's change then you should be fine and yes the lights will be dimmer at idle than when at speed. When the motor is turning faster it is putting out more energy to the lights and will make them brighter. Sounds to me like your F4i is perfectly fine. Get some insurance and plates (and a license if you don't have it) Take the MSF course if not already done and ENJOY!!!!!

All of us know that feeling.

Like R Dub said, it sounds fine.
