aftermarket peg install

Hey 12Pack, you've probably got it figured out already, but here it goes. The V shaped thing is called the pillion footpeg bracket. The three holed plate fits into it; there's a slot that the side of the plate slips into to keep it in place. Next goes the ball bearing which rests inside the corresponding detent in the footpeg itself (so the ball sits directly against the footpeg itself in the little hole). Does that make sense?

uhh I remember a little black spring coming out of the old ones do i need them for the new ones and does it go under the ball bearing cause i cannot find it..
