600 f1 sport remap (EU model, 2001)
@Wayne Burrell Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm curious what year bike this is? This section refers to the original CBR 600 from the 1980's. Since you're talking about "remap", I'm thinking this might be an EU version CBR from like 2001 maybe? If so, we should probably move this to the F4i section probably.
BTW, don't hesitate to introduce yourself.

I have a power commander 3 on mine.
It was custom mapped for my F5, scorpion end can and K&N air-filter (UK 2205 F4i), it is now on my 2006 F4i, yoshi end can & K&N.
I was very please with the map, filled the notorious bottom end hesitation and loved to rev, probably put a few more horses out but not really noticeable.
It had much stronger and smoother pull across the rev range and allowed me to ride very lazily when needed as was much more flexible.
On my F4i not quite as flexible low down and does back fire more noticably when coming off the throttle at higher rev ranges.
Once things settle down I will probably have it tweaked to set up for this bike when I have made a decision on my long term exhaust (S/S header and shorty.. probably).
Hope that helps.

I have a PC3 and had a custom tune done as well. On/off throttle is so much smoother but I only gained about 2hp at the wheel. This is with a filter and Scorpion exhaust. I was happy with the outcome just because of how smooth it goes through the gears now.
If you want more oomph, change the gearing by one tooth.
