+1 SEAFORDGUY. My -1 front sprocket keeps the revs a little higher then the normal gearing, aka more fuel.

I get about 45 on my F4i - mine is Bone Stock as opposed to R Dub's who has the mods seen in his sig (significantly the -1 Front)
I have -1/+2 on my F4 and can still manage 45mpg from er

definitely go for the f4i, one of the best bikes out there.
as for the CCT just get the ape, i think i got mine on ebay for $45.
it was really easy to install and there is a great write up on this site.
talk the guy down in price, if you can get him to $3500 it would be a steal, thats what i paid for mine.
just make sure you do not have to put any extra money into it, such as tires, clutch...ect
i rode mine for daytona to tampa the other day (3hrs) and it was surprisingly comfortable.
you will not regret the f4i!!!!!

Awesome, thanks! I wish this guy would get back to me about a 599 in great condition for $2900. It's 350 miles away though.

However, I've just noticed a couple of really nice F4i bikes come up in my local area. I might own one by the end of the weekend.

Pretty sure the 599 has an F3 motor.
