Default Anyone buy fairings from ronayers.com?

I'm doing the split seat conversion on my Yellow 2006 F4i and I need to get the tail. I was searching ronayers.com and noticed they have various options for rear fairing. Does anyone know the difference between the two? Does one come unpainted and the other painted?

77210-MBW-A10ZC ($296.86 - This one is cheaper, does it come unpainted?)

and

77210-MBW-A20ZC ($351.64 - This comes painted pearl flash yellow... to bad it doesn't match my yellow)

I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone know if ronayers would paint a 2002 fairing a color from 2006?

Thanks,
Mark

I highly doubt it. You'd have to pay a lot more, and it'd be better to just shell out the money for the right color.

I'm also considering D9 Industries. I'm was a bit concerned after doing a google search and reading some very negative reviews. I'm also worried that the paint won't match my bike ($205 for a new tail fairing w/ perfectly matching paint seems to good to be true).

You might want to ask their customer service if the cheaper is painted. I do know they sell OEM plastics, bought some plastics a few months back from ronayers. It was the colour complete with decals. Perfect mount, no issues.

I believe there are 8 mounting points on the rear plastic, and 4 of them were dead on the rest I kinda oval'ed with a dremel and once the bolts are in you can't tell a difference. I wanted gloss black only without decals.. within 2 weeks, I had it on.

When going through their site you should have to select bike color. I've bought fairing from them and they were painted.

I'm pretty sure Ron Ayers doesn't do any painting themselves. They just have the OEM parts, which come already painted and with decals.
