I just got an 02 F4i with the -1 in the front. The guy I got it from he said he noticed a good increase in acceleration but the new top speed is 235 kph, down from 265

The biggest difference I find (had an 01 F4i before this) is that I change gears alot more. Where I used to be able to cruise in second gear in town I now cruise in third

I haven't tried full throttling it yet cause I think I'd wheelie

Thanks for that info! It helps. I'm thinking about going -1 in the front sometime down the road, and it seems like it might be something I want to do.

I have a -1/+2 setup and I really like it... awesome acceleration addition. And top end loss isnt a concern for me. I would recommend it. Also if your going to just change your front sprocket to -1 (make sure its 525 pitch if its on the stock chain) you shouldnt need to get a new chain. Any more change than that you will most likely need a new chain. The speedohealer is about 90 bucks and it works great.. takes quite a while to install though the speedo sensor is hard to find. Yeah good mod, -1 in front wont do a whole lot but you will notice a little bit. Do it all yourself!!!!
