Default 02 600F4i shift lever

hello all,

I am knew to the forum and just bought my first bike. A Honda CBR600 f4i. for the two days I have owned it, I am pleased with the bike overall. A buddy of mine has a 2007 CBR600rr. I noticed on his bike the shift lever came straight back on the bike whereas on my bike the lever bolts onto the foot peg bracket and is connected to the gearbox by a linkage. My question is can you use the shifter from the rr on the f4i? do they make a shifter for the f4i like that? if there is a way to do this, could someone point me in the right direction, a site that I may purchase such a shift lever, or how to go about fabricating one if someone has already done this. I appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you for your time.

I've never seen one. Why do you want to do that? There's no added benefit, just looks different.

Isn't that what we all strive to do though? Make our bikes our own, to be unique....

Idk how to do it, buy if it makes you feel any hopeful I have the shift linkage from an 04 zx636 on my bike

That's why I ask. Some people have the notion that because it's different, it must be better. Either they assume, or have been told that. Just curious, really.
