I'm riding a 01 red and blk f4i with about 5500 miles on it. I wanted to ask everyone where is their clutch engagement point when they release the lever because mine is almost all the way out to the end of the release and i'm wondering if my clutch is gettin close to being worn out. I am the second owner and i know for a fact that the 1st rider was not a stunt guy and babied the bike and i dont burn clutches either. Also, I know i can adjust the cable but there is no free play on the lever.

Think I need a clutch?

im pretty sure thats just your clutch cable. I dont think you need to replace the clutch unless it's slipping. You'll know when it's slipping.
