Man o man, it's been a long time since I've been on these forums but I'm back because I'm completely stumped. I use to have intermittent problems with the bike but I fixed it all and have been riding for a while with out any issue.

Well yesterday I went to start the bike, got it to turn over once then all of a sudden it went completely dark: No lights, no turn over, no clicking, no nothing.

I've torn the bike completely apart and cannot find any loose connections. No loose or grounded wires. I've also checked ALL the fuses (main and ignition) all are in good shape. WTF?? The bike acts like it has no battery. Should I try a jump?

I would suggest checking the ignition switch, maybe with a different key but you said you were able to turn it over on one try before you had the issue. If it has been a while since you last rode the bike, it might be worth trying to jumpstart it and make sure there is no problem with the battery.

 

i wish I would have started with that. After tearing the bike apart I connected my car battery to the bike with jumper cables (car off) and it turned on. Go figure. How would a battery go bad like that instantly?
