Default Tach

Inoticed the other day while I was running down the interstate that when I've the rpms up around 7k or above that if I back off the throttle and slow down to like 6500 rpms that my needle starts bouncing up and down. Is this normal for our bikes or is the tach going on the fritz?

Most likely just a flatline in your bikes rpm. For the F2 the flatline is usually around 5400 rpm.

At least that's where my needle bounces around if I hold it there.
