Default burnt tach?

Has anyone ever had trouble with their guage cluster looking like its been burned in the tachometer? This is my second cluster and both got burnt in the same place (at about the 12000 rev mark on the guage).
Also it seems that in damp or humid weather my turn signals will just light up and stay lit instead of flicker when i use them. Bad wire/resister maybe?

If I was a smarter man I would know these things.

Thanks to any answers.

Check the wiring bro, it sounds like something is connected wrong.

Do you have a dubble bubble shield and do you park it in the sun?

the windscreen can magnify the sun enough to melt the gauges... the conditions have to be just right to do it but i've seen it happen before.
