Default Speedo swap?

Good day everyone

I'm building a streetfighter of my F2 and i'm looking around for a simple digital speed to instal, but I'm not so experienced with mechanical stuff or electrical for that mater, So i was wonder if something like this would be easy to instal? i have the haynes manual

DIGITAL-COCKPIT - Louis - Motorrad & Freizeit

And maybe anyone know of a "how to" guide for a speedo swap?

Double check your research, I'm pretty sure the F2 uses a mechanical cable off the front hub. So it's gonna be trickier than a newer model, if it's possible at all.

Hopefully someone else can give a more authoritative answer.

The f2 does indeed use a mechanical speedo, cable driven Speedo. I can't get that webpage to translate but have seen other digital speedos with a hall effect conversion for the pick up signal. I would call the support and inquire about the reference signal used. Give them your bike info and they should be able to tell you if it will work and how.

I have the digital speedo off of the f4I however but i havent put it on yet... you have to get a sprocket cover that has the ability to pull ur actual speed and feed it into the respect wires for the speedo ... i dont remember the specifics but i remember reading a write up on this forum.

Your going to need a few things. I also know you need a speedohealer as the translation from the mechanical speedo to the digital doesn't just work.

Here's the thread your looking for. Should be pretty similar.
