There is a detailed how to "the definitive f4to f4i gauge swap" if you search for it. The wire colors are 98% the same, so match up those colors and the how to will cover the couple of odd wires for ya. I worried about it/did a ton of research myself until I had the color coded wires in front of me. It may have taken 10 min total to hook it all up. Good luck
