My pleasure.

More noise and might cause your fuel mixture to go a little lean.

ok so I ended up cutting 7" out of the can itself and then had a buddy weld it back together for me. We grinded down the welds and painted it a high temp krinkle black. Looks factory and sounds great. Just a bit more throaty than stock. It really sounds like I spent some money on an aftermarket slip on, but this mod was free Took her for a ride yesterday and she responded well. I was a little worried about how she'd react from the slight loss in back pressure from cutting so much out, but all is well. One of these days I'll get some pics up of the bike. I just installed a fork mounted 7" round headlight with stubby turn signals that mount to the headlight brackets. I also took the stock gauge cluster and cut the speedo and tack out of it so they are there own separate gauges now and I mounted the gauges to the yoke with a custom bracket I made out of some thin steel. All the fairings are long gone and I tucked the wiring harness in behind the frame as well to clean it up. This has been my winter project and I'm very excited for riding season to pick up here in Seattle again.

Thanks for everyones advice,

Drew
