Default Questions on new chain & sprockets

Just brought my bike to the Honda dealer to get my chain tightened since it was way too loose. They couldn't tighten it too much since the left side chain tensioner is missing. Also the chain is stretched and the sprockets are worn too much.

Since I need to replace these parts I figure I should ask you guys if I should change up my gear ratio a little bit or keep it the same. Also what type of chain I should get. Where should I get all these parts? I got a quote for all these parts from the dealer and they gave me an est of 415 for just the parts. 145 of that is for a new back tire. This is gonna be a spendy bill!...

Thanks,
Ryan

I like D.I.D. or RK x-ring chains.
Sprocket center is a great source.
-1/+2 is a common combo for quicker acceleration, but you can stay with stock if you want to.
STG (sportbiketrackgear) is a good source for tires.

I think f2's need a little bit more torque down low for slow 2nd gear corners etc, so I'm going to order 15/45 and see how it feels, Stock gearing is 15/43.
Hopefully I'll have them on in the next 2 weeks cause my chain is really noisy atm.

And yes bikes are expensive LOL

Yes bikes are expensive. But, if you learn to do the maintenance and repairs yourself you can keep a lot more of YOUR cash in YOUR pocket. There's no way I could own a dirt bike and two street bikes if I had to pay someone else to do the maintenance and repairs on them. Food for thought.
