Default Pilot/Slow Jet question....

I am cleaning my carb and when I went to clean the slow jets I noticed the hole does not go all the way through. Is this normal? All four of them are like that so I'm guessing it's supposed to be like that but how does fuel get through?

Did you stick the long tip of carb cleaner can in there and spray? If everything is clean, cleaner should run out tiny hole in front of butterfly. It'll also run out fuel screw holes if they are removed. It's got to be there or you're cleaning some "mystery" part LOL.

I foudn that grocery store produce twist ties are the best. I just soak them so the paper comes off easy.

I can see through them now. Must have been bad lighting. Also, the wire from a loaf of bread will not fit.

Be VERY easy using any type of metal strands to clean them. They are very soft and even the slightest mark on them will affect their flow.
