Default one prob after another

I just got my first bike (94 f2) and so far re did the carbs, new battery, new r/r. Went for a bike ride and after a few minutes all the lights stopped working...headlight, brake, gauge lights! What can cause this? Thanks in advance

Does the bike continue to run when this happens, or does it shut down?

Check the voltage after you lose these items, and see if the battery has lost some charge - you could also run tests on your stator, to verify it is indeed charging the battery.

I had the same thought as JNS, maybe your charging system isn't working properly so your just running off your battery and eventually it just runs out of juice to keep the bike going. You mentioned you got a new R/R so check it's wired in correctly. I'd start checking voltages at various places to see if things are normal in the wiring.
