trainny prob??
95 f3..thought was burned clutch.....replaced friction discs and replaced (not new) clutch cable...bike is hard to shift and will not go into neutral(not even feathering clutch or rocking bike)... when bike is not running goes right into neutral...upshifts fine hard to down shift...bike also moves a little with clutch in..clutch doesnt pick up to way outthere..i dont think is is simple cable adjustment..adjusted many times on both cables...i have been running it at the drag strip...about 50 passes...half the time not using the clutch..(let off throttle little and shift) i do remember reading somewhere that could bend shift dog..or gear dog..... any thoughts........besides dont drag lol ...will use clutch all the time in the future.....thx eric
Using the clutch drag racing is a bad idea. If you are drag racing you should do it right. Whatever that's a different topic
I would say it's an adjustment issue. If it was a shift fork it would slip out or not go in right. LOL............ I just got it......... Chain tension. Did it do the same thing before you changed the clutch?

yes...it was giving me a hrd time down shifting and the neutral thing...happened right after a run....so me being a parts replacer i thought clutch..because being new dragger i tend to feather clutch a little to long, thinking i will do wheelie...maybe stretched cable ..both cables could be stretched......are shift fork..and shift dog different things....and if i ride it like this can tranny go and lock up..dont want to eat asphalt
