well ok but it dies out when its under 2k do i need to adjust the air valves on the carbs???

 

If it won't run under 2000 RPM, then you've probably got an issue with your pilot circuit, being either too rich or too lean - more often than not, it's too lean, due to the carbs needing a thorough cleaning... did this bike sit for a long period of time? When you rode it before you bought it, did it idle fine then? Does it run fine above 2000, in all gears, to redline?

 

well i went to put it under 2k and it stalled
